As an Operations Officer , you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Medical Rescue and helping deliver our medical and healthcare services across Australia and internationally.

No two days are the same. You could be coordinating staff travel and accommodation, arranging ground ambulance transfers, assisting with medical retrievals, liaising with hospitals and healthcare providers, or coordinating the deployment of clinical teams to rural, remote and offshore locations.

Working closely with our Operations, Clinical and Recruitment teams , you will help ensure every tasking is carefully planned, coordinated and delivered safely, efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the day-to-day operational requirements of Medical Rescue's healthcare and medical retrieval services.
- Coordinate staff travel, flights, accommodation, ground transport and associated logistics .
- Assist with the planning and coordination of domestic and international medical retrievals .
- Coordinate ground ambulance transfers and other patient transport requirements.
- Liaise with hospitals, medical facilities, airlines, ambulance providers, accommodation providers and other external stakeholders.
- Coordinate staff deployments to rural, remote and offshore locations.
- Assist with operational planning, rostering, scheduling and task allocation.
- Monitor and respond to changing operational requirements and time-sensitive requests.
- Maintain accurate operational records, documentation and tasking information.
- Assist with quotes, operational costings and procurement where required.
- Coordinate equipment, vehicles and other operational resources.




- Identify issues and implement practical solutions to keep operations moving.
- Provide clear, professional and timely communication to staff, clients and external stakeholders.
- Support the wider Operations team with administrative and coordination duties as required.

About You

We are looking for an organised, proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems.

You will be someone who can remain calm under pressure, manage competing priorities and understand that in medical operations, timing, communication and attention to detail matter.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in operations, logistics, healthcare, aviation, emergency services or a similar workplace .
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accurate administrative skills.
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in medical retrievals, aviation operations, ambulance services,



healthcare, FIFO/DIDO operations or rural and remote healthcare will be highly regarded, however, we are also interested in candidates with strong transferable operations and logistics experience.
