TRUCK TECH is looking for an experienced Leading Hand to join our Chipping Norton workshop on day shift.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows trucks, can support a team and knows how to keep a busy workshop moving. You’ll work closely with the Workshop and Branch Manager while being the go-to person for technicians on the floor.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading and supporting technicians on the workshop floor
- Coordinating jobs and keeping workflow moving
- Providing technical support and guidance
- Getting on the tools when needed




- Assisting with complex diagnostics and fault finding
- Monitoring workmanship, productivity and safety
- Supporting and developing apprentices and technicians
- Communicating job progress and priorities with workshop management
- Setting the standard for accountability, teamwork and quality

What We’re Looking For

- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Strong heavy vehicle servicing, repair and diagnostic experience
- Previous Leading Hand, Senior Technician, Foreman or supervisory experience preferred
- Confident leading and supporting a team
- Someone who leads from the front and gets things done
