St Paul’s Catholic Primary School is seeking expressions of interest for an enthusiastic, committed, and motivated teacher to join our team. Our school is located in the beautiful leafy green suburb of Mt. Lawley and boasts state of the art learning environments for our students. Presently our school caters for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 with approximately 230 enrolments. We are a vibrant, happy, supportive staff who have every student’s best interest at heart. The school runs a number of sporting and academic programmes to enhance the daily curriculum and shares a lively faith-filled relationship with the local Parish and Parish Priests.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrate a clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
- Demonstrate excellent teaching skills, classroom management and organisational skills.
- Experience in the delivery of PLD (Promoting Literacy Development).
- Ability to apply data driven insights into teaching and learning.
- Provide evidence of data informed teaching practice throught the application of assessment and continuous monitoring strategies.
- Integrate ICT skills and technology effectively into classroom learning and teaching programs.
- Demonstrate a clear commitment to improving the educational outcomes of all students. Be able to differentiate the curriculum in order to meet the individual needs of the students.
- Demonstrate highly effective communication skills with parents, staff and students.
- A demonstrated commitment to the pastoral care and welfare of students.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents and parish.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
Qualifications Required
- Relevant 4 year tertiary qualification
- Have/ Working towards Accreditation to Teach Religious Education
