Our team delivers structural and civil engineering across a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from bespoke residential developments through to industrial, commercial and complex multi-storey projects.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Structural Engineer with around 3–5 years' experience who is ready for more ownership, more variety and more direct involvement in their projects.

At this stage of your career, you’ve got the fundamentals. Now you want opportunities to use them.

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of structural projects and be involved in the full project lifecycle — understanding the brief, developing design solutions, coordinating documentation, communicating with clients and consultants, attending site inspections and helping solve the inevitable challenges that come up during construction.

You’ll work closely with our senior engineers and directors, but you’ll also be trusted to make decisions, manage your own workload and increasingly take ownership of projects.

Tasks / Duties

Your role will include:

- Structural analysis,



modelling and design across a variety of building projects
- Design of structural systems and elements using concrete, steel, timber and masonry
- Developing concept and detailed structural solutions
- Preparing and reviewing engineering calculations, sketches, reports and specifications
- Working closely with our drafting team to produce clear and coordinated structural documentation
- Coordinating with architects, builders, clients and project consultants
- Undertaking site inspections and providing construction-stage engineering support
- Managing your own projects and priorities with support from senior team members
- Supporting and mentoring graduate engineers and junior team members
- Identifying opportunities to improve design efficiency, constructability and value for our clients
- Building strong, long-term relationships with the people we work with

Skills & Experience

Ideally, you’ll have:

- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Approximately 3–5 years of structural engineering experience
- Experience designing building structures across a range of materials and structural systems
- Sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and building codes
- Experience with structural analysis and design software
- Good understanding of documentation and construction processes
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills to develop practical and buildable engineering solutions
- Confidence communicating with clients, architects, builders and other consultants
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisation and the ability to manage competing project priorities
- A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider team
- Previous experience in an Australian consulting setting would be highly regarded.
