Rate: $82.78 per hour + Super
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday

APG Workforce is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor (AO6) to join the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), North Coast Region.

Based in Buderim, you will support the delivery of major Sunshine Coast transport infrastructure projects, including The Wave Stage 3 (Metro) and the Mooloolah River Interchange Upgrade .

The Role Working within the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team, you will partner closely with TMR project teams, contractors and stakeholders to coordinate communications and engagement throughout project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and deliver project communications and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Manage communications between TMR, contractors, stakeholders and the community.
- Provide strategic advice on stakeholder issues, risks and reputation management.
- Coordinate construction notifications, community engagement and stakeholder briefings.
- Build relationships with contractors, councils, businesses,



government agencies and community groups.
- Review communications and consultation materials to ensure quality and consistency.
- Monitor stakeholder feedback and emerging community issues.
- Support communications across multiple project and contractor interfaces.

About You

You will ideally have:

- Solid communications and stakeholder engagement experience within major infrastructure, construction or transport projects .
- Experience working with contractors, alliance teams, joint ventures or integrated project teams.
- Experience managing construction impacts and stakeholder issues.
- Excellent written, verbal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear communications.
- Strong judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Highly regarded

IAP2 certification and/or tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
