Mortgage Broker Or Experienced Parabroker

Refyne is looking for a Mortgage Broker, experienced Parabroker or Credit Analyst to join a team of brokers who settle over $100 million annually. This is an prospect to work alongside an experienced team, be handed quality investor leads, and bring your lending knowledge into a growing brokerage. You'll work in a hybrid arrangement (3 days office, 2 days work from home - Tuesday & Thursday) at Macquarie Park, Sydney.

Key responsibilities

Assess credit applications across self-employed borrowers, complex income structures, company and trust borrowers, portfolio investors and scenarios requiring deeper credit analysis

Structure lending solutions across residential, investment, commercial, bridging finance, construction and development funding, private lending and specialist finance

Work directly with BDMs, credit teams, commercial lenders, specialist funders and private lenders to workshop scenarios and find solutions for deals outside standard offerings

Take lending scenarios from initial assessment through to approval, identifying lender requirements and presenting deals to maximise approval chances

Analyse financials, structures, servicing, security positions and funding requirements using tools like BrokerEngine and Quickli

Develop lending strategies for clients with complicated scenarios including self-employed borrowers, bridging finance, construction projects, commercial property acquisition and private lending solutions

Stay across the lending landscape across residential, commercial, specialist and private lending, monitoring changing credit appetites

Provide ongoing support as a trusted lending resource for clients and the broader team, sharing knowledge and identifying solutions across wider lending scenarios

About you

2-3 years of experience across mortgage broking, parabroking, credit analysis,



banking or a similar lending role

Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking

Strong foundations in residential and investment lending, including credit assessment, servicing, lender policy and loan structuring

Broader technical lending experience across one or more areas such as self-employed lending, commercial finance, bridging finance, construction or development funding, private or specialist lending, SMSF lending, company and trust structures or complex income scenarios

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research policy, workshop scenarios with lenders and identify solutions where the answer isn't immediately obvious

Confidence communicating with clients, BDMs and credit teams, including explaining more involved lending strategies clearly and effectively

A proactive, commercially minded approach and strong attention to detail

Experience with BrokerEngine, Quickli, FLEX, ApplyOnline and Australian lender platforms would be highly regarded
