$82.06/hr + Super (PAYG) | Full-time, 35 hrs/week

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan and deliver a portfolio of residential capital and compliance upgrade projects across NSW — including façade, structural, roof, restoration, fire safety, stormwater and demolition works, along with acquisition upgrades. Project values range from under $100K up to $3M+, and you'll be managing multiple concurrent projects at any one time.

What you'll do

- Lead planning, briefing, resourcing and delivery of capital works and compliance upgrade projects statewide
- Manage tenders and procurement in line with Housing Portfolio policy, and administer resulting contracts
- Monitor project performance, budgets and timeframes, and implement risk mitigation strategies




- Coordinate with architects, surveyors, planners, compliance auditors, contractors and DCJ district staff
- Investigate and resolve complaints, including ministerial correspondence, drafting formal responses
- Report regularly to Principal Compliance/Upgrade Managers and Director on project progress
- Potentially lead a small team (up to 8 direct reports)

What you'll bring

- Qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Building, Surveying, Project/Business Management or a related construction discipline
- Previous NSW Government experience highly regarded
- Experience delivering residential capital works or compliance upgrade projects (client-side or contractor-side)
- Solid stakeholder management, tender/contract administration, and risk management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects across a large geographic footprint

Requirements

- Valid White Card and current driver's licence (essential — regular travel to sites statewide)
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
