About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Project Directors, the Commercial Analyst will provide critical financial and commercial insights across the development lifecycle and organisation.

You will evaluate potential investment opportunities, identify and implement process and performance improvements, develop business cases, evaluate project feasibility, analyse project performance and support key strategic and operational decision‑making.

The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to influence the commercial success of a growing development portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse project financial performance, including profitability, cash flow, return on investment and key commercial metrics
- Support acquisition assessments and due diligence activities
- Undertake financial capacity assessments on contractors
- Develop investment papers, business cases and Board reporting materials
- Conduct scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision‑making
- Identify and implement process and performance improvements across the organisation
- Partner with project delivery and construction teams to monitor project budgets,



forecasts and risks.
- Identify commercial opportunities to improve project outcomes and organisational performance
- Assist with strategic planning, annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Deliver insightful management reporting and performance analysis to senior leadership
- Support financing activities, lender reporting and capital management initiatives.

About You

You will possess:

- 3-7 years' experience within a Big 4 firm in Corporate Finance, Deals Advisory, Transaction Services, Valuations, Business Modelling, Infrastructure Advisory or a related commercial discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
- CA, CPA or CFA qualification (or progression towards qualification).
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience building complex financial models.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A commercially curious mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes.
- Experience within property, infrastructure, construction or capital-intensive industries will be highly regarded but is not essential.
