About us

Duo Group is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social media presence and drive the continued growth of our brands across digital platforms.

Based in our Sydney office, this is a hands-on role for someone who understands how to turn technical property topics into relevant, engaging and high-performing social content.

This is initially a 12-month full-time contract , with the opportunity to transition into an ongoing full time position based on performance, particularly the growth, engagement and commercial impact of our social media platforms.

About the role

You will be responsible for developing, managing and improving our social media strategy across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.

Working closely with management, internal subject-matter experts and the wider marketing team, you will identify content opportunities, manage the publishing calendar, develop campaigns and use platform data to continuously improve performance.

A key part of this role is understanding our audience. We are therefore looking for someone who is personally experienced in property investing and has a strong understanding of the Australian property market, including property tax, tax depreciation and property valuations.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple Duo Group brands

Manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube channels

Plan and maintain social media content calendars

Develop engaging content around property investment, tax, depreciation,



valuations and related topics

Turn complex technical information into clear and engaging social content

Identify trending topics, news and conversations relevant to Australian property investors

Write and refine social media copy, hooks, captions and calls to action

Coordinate video, reels, carousels, static content and other social assets

Monitor comments, messages and community engagement

Track platform performance, audience growth, engagement, reach, traffic and lead activity

Analyse content performance and continuously test and improve social strategies

Work with internal experts to ensure content remains accurate and credible

Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social platforms

Identify opportunities to grow organic reach and strengthen brand authority

About You

You are a commercially minded social media professional who understands that strong social media is about more than posting content.

You understand audiences, know how to identify a strong content angle and are comfortable using data to determine what is working and what needs to change.

Importantly, you also understand the property investor mindset because you have direct experience as a property investor yourself .

You will ideally have:

Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube





Experience developing and executing social media strategies

Strong copywriting and content development skills

Experience analysing social media metrics and improving performance

A strong understanding of Australian property investment

Personal experience owning or investing in investment property

Strong knowledge of property tax concepts, tax depreciation and property valuations

An understanding of the questions, concerns and challenges Australian property investors face

Strong attention to detail and commitment to content accuracy

Confidence working with senior management and subject-matter experts

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative marketing team

A practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach

Success in this role means building social media channels that are not simply active, but genuinely contributing to the growth of the business.

You will be expected to demonstrate measurable improvements in:

Engagement and content performance

Organic reach and brand visibility

Website traffic generated through social media

Content consistency and quality

Lead generation and support

Brand authority within the Australian property investment market

Strong performance throughout the 12-month contract will be an important consideration for progression into an ongoing full-time role.
