Experienced Excavator Operator – Full Time

DL Contracting is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for ongoing, full time work across greater Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for consistent work with a growing contracting business.

About the Role

You will be operating excavators across a range of civil and construction projects, with a strong focus on detailed excavation and site preparation.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating excavators from 1.7T to 38T
- Detailed excavation for footings, trenches, pads and other civil works
- Operating attachments including rock saws, hammers and augers
- General excavation and site preparation
- Working safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Working overtime and weekends when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 3 years' excavator operating experience
- Current White Card




- Relevant Excavator VOCs
- Valid Australian driver's licence
- Proven experience with detailed excavation
- Competent operating 1.7T–38T excavators
- Experience using attachments
- Full Australian working rights
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

- GPS machine control experience
- Posi Track experience
- HR licence
- Rock sawing
