Programmed are currently seeking an experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welder to join their workshop team in Penrith .

The successful candidate will be responsible for TIG welding stainless steel components and fabricating quality products to engineering specifications. This role would suit a Welder/Fabricator who has strong TIG experience and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality welds.

Key Responsibilities

- TIG weld stainless steel components to a high standard.
- Fabricate and assemble stainless steel components and structures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment.
- Complete preparation, fit-up, tacking and welding of components.
- Grind, clean and finish welds where required.
- Measure and inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Work with other tradespeople and workshop staff to complete projects.




- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all WHS procedures and welding safety requirements.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Proven experience as a TIG Welder , preferably working with stainless steel.
- Strong stainless steel welding experience.
- Ability to produce clean, high-quality TIG welds .
- Experience reading engineering drawings.
- Solid fabrication and fit-up skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Relevant welding qualifications and tickets highly regarded.
