Credit Analyst | Specialist Lending

Are you a lending professional who enjoys solving complex credit scenarios and structuring deals that others can't?

We're partnering with a respected finance business seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to play a critical role in assessing, structuring and supporting a high volume of full-doc and low-doc lending applications.

Working closely with brokers, you'll act as the credit expert behind the scenes, helping secure positive lending outcomes across a broad panel of lenders.

This is an ideal chance for someone who thrives on policy interpretation, credit strategy and deal structuring rather than client-facing sales activities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assessing and structuring both full-doc and low-doc lending applications
- Analysing complex lending scenarios and identifying solutions
- Working closely with brokers to provide credit guidance and structuring support
- Maintaining a deep understanding of lender policy across approximately 20 financiers
- Monitoring policy updates and applying changes effectively to lending scenarios
- Liaising directly with bank credit teams to negotiate and advocate for lending outcomes
- Preparing and presenting well-supported credit submissions




- Challenging credit decisions professionally where appropriate to achieve the best possible outcome for clients

What We're Looking For

- Strong experience in credit analysis, loan assessment or lending operations
- Excellent understanding of lender policy, particularly within the low-doc lending space
- Proven ability to structure complex lending transactions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage directly with bank credit teams
- Ability to influence and negotiate outcomes while maintaining strong professional relationships
- Process-driven, methodical and highly consistent in your approach
- Someone who enjoys working behind the scenes and providing technical expertise rather than managing client relationships
- A long-term interest in credit and lending rather than pursuing a broker pathway in the near future
