Carer for Disabled Lady - Full Time or Part Time

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer for Disabled Lady to care for an elderly lady with Multiple Sclerosis which, depending on applicant's availability, could be part time or full time hours.
n
The role is based in Maroochydore, Queensland.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Provide personal care assistance, including support with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing.
n
Assist with mobility support and help the individual move safely around the home and community.
n
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
n
Support medication management and ensure prescribed treatments are taken as directed.
n
Maintain a clean, secure and comfortable living environment.
n
Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
n
Assist with community outings and social activities as appropriate.
n




Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to relevant family members or healthcare providers.
n
What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a carer or in a disability support role, with a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
n
Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with the individual in your care
n
Physical capability to provide hands-on care and mobility assistance
n
Reliability, punctuality and a skilled approach to caregiving responsibilities
n
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining regular communication with family and healthcare providers
n
A caring, patient and empathetic temperament with genuine commitment to improving quality of life
