About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Vocal Tutor to join our expanding Music Academy team in 2027. You will be responsible for providing tuition to students in small groups, pairs, or individual lessons in your area of expertise and will have the ability to lead a Secondary Choir.

This is a contractor position, and tutors are paid per lesson based on their qualifications and registration with the Queensland Music Teachers Association (QMTA).

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality singing lessons.





Tailor lesson content to suit individual student needs and skill levels.

Lead a Secondary Choir

Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and the Music Academy team.

Submit fortnightly invoices for hours worked.

Support the development of the College’s music program.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Vocal training.

Demonstrated proficiency in your instrument and prior teaching experience.

ABN (Australian Business Number).

Current Public Liability Insurance (PLI).

Valid Blue Card for working with children in Queensland.

Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

Reliability, professionalism, and passion for music education.
