The opportunity

You’ll be part of a varied commercial litigation and dispute resolution caseload, working across the full lifecycle of a matter from first client contact through to resolution. This includes:

- Running discovery sessions with new and prospective clients to scope matters, assess prospects and identify the right strategy from day one




- Contract and shareholder disputes, debt recovery and insolvency matters
- Employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, general protections claims and contractual disputes
- Building and construction, property and leasing disputes, and misleading or deceptive conduct claims
- Strategy, pleadings and evidence, negotiation and ADR, and interlocutory applications and appearances as your experience allows

You’ll work closely with senior litigators and our accounting team, with genuine scope to develop your skills and take on more responsibility over time. As you grow into the role, you’ll have the opportunity to build your own client relationships and take greater ownership of matters from start to finish.

What you’ll bring

- Admission as a solicitor in Queensland, with at least 1 year PAE in litigation or dispute resolution (more experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply)
- Strong drafting, analytical and advocacy skills
- Confident, client-focused communication
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable to change, with a genuine willingness to continue upskilling
