About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for an Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician to join a supportive and community-focused team based in Wellington. This rewarding role provides culturally secure, recovery-oriented mental health care and support to Aboriginal consumers, families and communities, helping to improve wellbeing and achieve positive health outcomes.

The successful candidate will have experience in mental health and a genuine passion for working within the community. They will work closely with consumers, families, carers and local service providers to build strong relationships, support access to services, and deliver person-centred care that addresses individual needs. Robust communication and engagement skills will be essential in developing effective partnerships and fostering positive connections across the Wellington community.

Based in Wellington and supported by the larger Mental Health team in Dubbo,



this position offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit community while benefiting from the support and expertise of an experienced multidisciplinary team. Working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, the role provides a great work-life balance and the chance to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.
