Contract Administrator – Commercial Construction

We’re a small-to-medium sized business, which means you won’t be a number — you’ll be a key part of the team and involved in projects from start to finish.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Traralgon office. You will work closely with our Project Managers and Directors to manage the financial and contractual side of multiple commercial projects.

This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and the opportunity to grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing, reviewing and administering subcontract agreements
- Letting and negotiating trade packages
- Assessing and processing subcontractor progress claims
- Head contract administration (AS contracts)
- Managing variations, extensions of time, and contractual notices
- Cost tracking, forecasting and reporting




- Procurement of materials and subcontractors
- Liaising with site teams, consultants and clients
- Assisting with project programming and budget control

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded and confident working in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will ideally have:

- Experience as a Contract Administrator or similar in commercial construction
- Knowledge of Australian construction contracts (AS, AS4000, etc.)
- Ability to work on multiple projects and manage deadlines
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- An understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite, construction based software preferable but not essential
