Young Henrys, founded in 2012 in Newtown, began with a mission to SERVE THE PEOPLE by bringing greater innovation and fun to the beer industry. Since then, we have grown to produce a wide range of beverages including cider and gin, serving customers across Australia! About the Role:

We need an experienced, hands-on Venue Manager on-board as we open our new venue this October. This bar will be a neighbourhood hub where music, community mateship, and incredible froths collide. This is not an office-bound role. Our Venue Manager will be the face of the venue leading the crew straight from the floor and making sure every guest leaves with a smile and a story.

Key Responsibilities:

- Full P&L; accountability.
- Guest experience - drive high-energy service shifts, resolve real-time issues, and maintain a stellar 4.5+ star vibe.
- Inventory management - Manage keg rotation, line maintenance, and minimise waste.
- Train, lead and performance-manage bar staff to hit labour target; Manage security providers and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with NSW Liquor Act, Food Safety & WHS.




- Support community engagement calendar with Marketing & Events.

About You:

4+ years management experience in a rapid-paced, high-volume pub or craft taproom.

Demonstrated P&L; control and working knowledge of POS software & Excel.

Proven experience hiring, rostering & developing teams.

You possess a love for independent beer and the counter-culture community that surrounds it.

You hold a current valid local compliance certification (RSA and Approved Manager status).

You are highly organised, self-sufficient, and commercial

Cocktail experience would be beneficial.
