Key responsibilities

Provide engineering and technical support throughout the planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out of projects.

Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, clients and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting and progress reporting.

Provide technical advice and support to project and tender teams.

Assist with the management of project scope, variations and contractual requirements.

Monitor project performance and assist in identifying and resolving technical, schedule and commercial issues.

Support quality assurance activities, including project documentation, inspections, ITPs and handover requirements.

Prepare and review drawings, technical documentation, reports and project deliverables.

Participate in project risk assessments, toolbox meetings, safety meetings and site interactions.

Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination and management of project resources.

About you

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

Previous experience in a Project Engineer, Site Engineer or similar role is highly regarded.

Experience within the construction, resources, mining or heavy industrial sectors is desirable.

Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and organisational skills.

An interest in developing across the technical, commercial and project management aspects of project delivery.

Quality assurance and/or project controls experience is desirable, but not essential.





Knowledge of relevant mining and workplace health and safety requirements is desirable.

A practical, delivery-focused approach and willingness to spend significant time on site.

Flexibility to travel throughout the Bowen Basin and work varied rosters where project requirements dictate.
