Joinery/Cabinet Making Factory Site Manager

Prime Kitchens Group is a Cabinet Maker based in Campbellfield. Our young and experienced team creates joinery, including kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and robes for reputable domestic builders and homeowners. An opportunity is now available for a highly motivated full-time Joinery Factory Foreman to join our experienced and skilled team.

This position is ideal for a candidate with a background in joinery/cabinet making and prior experience as a factory foreman, or for someone who is seeking to advance into a factory foreman role.
n
Primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Operating CNC, EdgeBander and panel saw machines
n
Reading and interpreting plans and blueprints
n
Supervising the assembly team and assembly process
n
Managing the workflow and production schedule
n
Training and mentoring new employees in the factory
n
Ensuring that safety protocols are followed by all workers in the factory
n




Maintaining all machines and equipment in good working condition
n
n
The successful candidate will have
n
n
At least 10 years of experience in cabinet making and CNC machine operation
n
At least 2 years of experience supervising factory-floor staff, including assigning tasks and coordinating workflow
n
Knowledge of plans, blueprints, and specifications
n
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet tight deadlines
n
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures
n
Forklift driving licence
n
While experience with CabMaster Software is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for the position
