This is a hands on leadership role for someone who loves hospitality and thrives in a fast paced environment. You will work closely with the entire team to run service, support staff, oversee bar and beverage operations, and ensure every guest receives the warm, professional experience Sofia is known for. We're seeking a hands on hospitality leader, whether you're an experienced Restaurant Manager, Supervisor, or an ambitious team leader ready to take the next step. Key responsibilities

Support the team and owners in daily operations

Lead FOH staff during service and maintain high hospitality standards

Oversee bar operations, beverage quality, and staff performance

Assist with training, onboarding, and team development

Manage bookings, phone enquiries, and function coordination

Handle customer issues with professionalism and solution focused communication

Contribute to smooth service flow, problem solving, and team delegation

Uphold the warmth, passion, and consistency of Sofia's hospitality

About you

Minimum 3 years hospitality experience, restaurant experience strongly preferred

Managerial or supervisory experience in hospitality

Valid RSA

Strong bar and beverage knowledge, including wine service

Ability to lead bar staff,



support cocktail development, and maintain beverage standards

A leader who works with the team, hands on, supportive, and collaborative

Warm, personable, and passionate about Mediterranean style hospitality

Calm, professional communication and the ability to defuse situations with poise

Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage busy, fast paced weekend services

Honest, reliable, and committed to long term growth
