Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time | Graduates through to experienced, locally established EPs

The chance

This is far from a conventional Exercise Physiology role. A genuinely hands-on, face-to-face role - predominantly 1:1, plus group classes each week - across a broad client base: from members of the local community of varied ages, backgrounds and health status, through to high-performing executives and individuals focused on performance and longevity.

In a given day you might move between chronic disease management for an internal or external GP-referred client, a DVA, NDIS or occupational-health participant, a seniors’ group class, a Medicare-funded consultation, and a First Light Active member optimising performance and longevity. We practise medically informed, evidence-based, data-driven care, and we’re looking for EPs who want real, ongoing client contact - not simply to deliver a fixed program.

- Advanced functional and clinical assessments across a diverse client base
- Evidence-based program design for chronic disease, rehabilitation and prevention
- Individual, small-group and seniors’ program delivery (training provided on our diagnostics)

What you’ll bring

- ESSA accreditation and Medicare provider eligibility; WorkCover Queensland provider registration, or eligibility to apply
- Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Rehabilitation or chronic disease experience and a self-driven, collaborative approach
- A genuine passion for hands-on care across the full spectrum, from community health to performance and longevity
- The drive to play a pivotal role in growing our client base and building commercial links with medical, surgical peers, corporate, education facilities and commercial partners
- A commitment to contributing to ongoing clinical governance and industry best practice
- Desirable: DVA/NDIS experience, prior VALD Performance equipment use, or a clinical/preventative health background

Remuneration

Highly competitive remuneration commensurate with experience.
