Due to massive growth in the Off-Highway sector, a permanent role has come up for a Site Manager VIC to join the Penske Team. You'll be based at Altona North , working as an integral part of our National Energy Solutions Team . You will actively lead and manage a team of Energy Solutions installers to provide the best service to our customers VIC wide.

In this role you will:

- Have a solid focus on Safety Leadership , monitor safety training requirements, arrange HSE trainings and induction, prepare and submit HSE-related documents and permit applications.
- Plan, facilitate and supervise installation jobs on Energy Solutions products and projects, including direction of subcontractors.
- Implement and monitor project installation schedules
- Work closely with Project Managers, Commissioning Managers, Commissioning Technicians and Engineering to ensure project is installed/commissioned to correct specifications.
- Support cost forecasting and control, whilst assisting with project and test documentation.
- Coordinate and manage resources, tools and assets needed to perform commissioning tasks
- Represent the Energy Solutions team at job sites, interact positively/professionally with clients, general contractors and subcontractors.
- Ensure your team consistently exceeds expectations of both internal and external customers.
- Model safe working behaviour in line with Penske's values of Ownership, Passion, Teamwork, Integrity and Care

About you:

- Sound knowledge of diesel and gas engines, generators, controls, switchgear and auxiliary systems
- Minimum 5 years relevant prior experience with complex generator installation allied systems, both electrical and mechanical
- Demonstrable ability to successfully manage,



develop & motivate a team .
- Have a solid customer focus and team-player mindset
- Have an understanding of HSE and QA processes and requirements
- Strong communication skills , written and verbal, with a knack for building personal connections.
- A high energy, high output persona and resilient nature.
- Advanced MS Office skills and ability to learn and use bespoke software systems.
- Desire to undertake frequent travel to customer sites
- High emotional intelligence , we're looking for a leader not a boss to grow and develop the team.
