About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our Team on a 12-month contract . The role Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to achieve business objectives across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role provides leadership and support to Team Leaders and operators, ensuring operational targets are achieved while maintaining a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

- Lead daily production activities across multiple manufacturing lines to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and technical support to Team Leaders and operators.
- Conduct regular safety walks, drive hazard identification, and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Champion plant-wide housekeeping standards and operational discipline.
- Own quality performance within assigned areas, including investigations, NCAs, corrective actions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Analyse production, quality, and OEE performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate and lead investigations into recurring defects, production issues, and customer-impacting incidents.




- Ensure corrective actions are implemented, verified, and sustained.
- Manage production disruptions, escalations, and recovery plans to minimise operational impact.
- Support labour planning, payroll processes, workforce development, and succession planning activities.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and employee engagement.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, employee development, team engagement, and performance management.
- Support employee relations matters, including investigations, performance discussions, and disciplinary processes where required.
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and other support functions to improve operational performance.
- Drive accountability through structured communication, performance reviews, action tracking, and follow-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

- You have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory or leadership role, with a qualification in Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred.
- You are a people-focused leader who can motivate, coach, and develop teams while building strong working relationships.
- You are a proactive problem-solver with strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- You have a robust commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- You are an effective communicator with a customer-focused mindset and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
