Freestone’s Transport is recruiting a Night Supervisor to support its national linehaul operation from Tullamarine.
This full-time leadership position suits an experienced transport professional who can guide a dedicated team and keep overnight freight movements operating safely, efficiently and on schedule.
About the Position
The Night Supervisor will help coordinate nightly linehaul activity across the national network. The role requires calm decision-making, clear communication and close attention to safety, service and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the night operations team
- Coordinate scheduled linehaul arrivals and departures
- Communicate with drivers, depots and operational staff
- Respond to delays, disruptions and overnight escalations
- Support safe and compliant freight movements
- Monitor operational priorities and service performance
- Maintain accurate shift records and provide clear handovers
- Help build a reliable and supportive team environment
What Freestone’s Is Looking For
- Transport, logistics or linehaul operations experience
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of heavy-vehicle safety and Chain of Responsibility obligations
- Solid planning, communication and problem-solving skills
