Our client is seeking an experienced compliance professional to join a high-performing governance and compliance function within a complex, highly regulated environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide compliance programs, provide trusted regulatory advice and support the ongoing enhancement of compliance frameworks across the business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory obligations are effectively managed through risk-based monitoring, assurance activities, compliance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver risk-based compliance monitoring, thematic reviews and assurance activities to assess adherence to legislative and regulatory obligations.
- Conduct compliance investigations, control testing and desktop reviews, identifying areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide timely and practical compliance advice to business stakeholders, supporting effective decision-making and regulatory outcomes.
- Assist in the development, implementation and enhancement of compliance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assessing potential impacts and supporting the implementation of required changes.
- Prepare reports,



findings and recommendations for management and governance committees.
- Track and report on compliance incidents, breaches, remediation activities and action plans.
- Support audit and regulatory engagement activities, ensuring information requests and reviews are managed effectively.
- Work collaboratively across the business to promote a robust culture of compliance, accountability and risk awareness.

Ideal Background

- Demonstrated experience within compliance, regulatory risk, audit or assurance functions.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance obligations within a complex operating environment.
- Experience conducting compliance reviews, investigations, control assessments and monitoring activities.
- Ability to interpret legislation and regulatory requirements, translating them into practical business solutions.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to challenge, influence and advise at multiple levels.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing compliance reports and recommendations.
- Highly organised, analytical and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
