The position

We are hiring an Associate Product Manager to support our Product team across the lifecycle of FYI’s features, while building the capability to progress into Product Management.

Working closely with Product Managers and teams including Engineering, Client Success and Support, your responsibilities will evolve across research and client discovery, beta, release and adoption, through to enhancements and end-of-life.

It’s a hands‑on, administration‑focused and client‑facing role, using client feedback, product data and coordination to support informed product decisions.

Key responsibilities

Your role will encompass, but is not limited to:

- Supporting product research and discovery through competitor analysis, client feedback, Support trends, enhancement requests and product usage data.
- Coordinating client engagement, including outreach, surveys and user sessions to understand workflows, needs and feedback.
- Managing Product administration, including Jira, documentation, enhancement requests, meetings and follow‑up actions.
- Supporting beta programs and releases, coordinating client participation, communications, feedback and cross‑functional readiness.
- Monitoring feature usage and adoption,



providing insights and coordinating escalations, defects and enhancements.
- Maintaining Help Centre content and support product reviews and end‑of‑life assessments, considering usage, dependencies and client impact.

You’ll need valid working rights in Australia and the ability to complete satisfactory background and verification checks as part of our standard recruitment process.

About you

This role suits SaaS professionals transitioning into Product Management, individuals with FYI product exposure, or graduates looking to build a career in Product.

- Naturally curious and analytical, with a genuine interest in how software works and clients use it.
- Confident engaging with clients to understand their workflows, challenges and needs.
- Highly organised, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and follow actions through to completion.
- Comfortable using data and reporting to identify trends and support product decisions.
- Tech-savvy, cooperative and proactive. Exposure to Jira, product management or reporting tools is advantageous.
