About the Role

We are seeking experienced electricians to join our Queensland project delivery team based in Virginia on the full-time basis. You will work as an integral part of our onsite project delivery teams FIFO and DIDO throughout regional QLD and NSW to assist in successful delivery of large-scale communications projects for our clients in the mining, rail and government sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in capital project installation at the direction of project management.
- Lead the electrical, BESS and Solar installation and commissioning activities within a small team.
- Generator installation and commissioning activities.
- DC Power system integration (predominately Eltek and Eaton)
- Testing and commissioning to Australian and client standards.
- Ensure a zero-harm safety culture through compliance with standards and guidelines.
- Contributes to a culture which encourages teamwork and collaboration

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:





- Trade Certified Electrician with west Australian electrical license
- Provide First Aid statement of attainment (within 3 years)
- CPR and Low Voltage Rescue statement of attainment (within 1 years)
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Work Safely at Heights statement of attainment (within 2 years industry standard)
- Current Licence to Perform High Risk Work – Boom type elevating work platform (WP) – desirable.
- Electrical experience working with Solar, Direct Current, Battery Backup systems and Telecommunications power supplies is desirable.
- Experience working within mine sites – desirable.
- Sound judgement to make appropriate decisions with limited direction.
