What you will do

Join a long-established legal practice with a strong reputation across the region. As a Property Lawyer at Horizon Legal Group, you’ll handle a diverse range of commercial and property matters, delivering practical and sound legal advice with a client-first approach.

In this role, you will:

- Manage Business sale matters from instruction through to completion
- Review & advise on retail shop and commercial leases, and manage through to completion
- Review & advise on call option agreements, Retirement Village/Manufactured home agreements,
- Provide advice for Guarantors and Reverse Mortgage clients
- Draft easements and other title dealings, complete titles lodgements of survey plans and associated dealings
- Provide commercially focused legal advice to a broad range of clients
- Liaise with accountants, financial planners, surveyors and other professionals to progress matters accurately and expeditiously
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners
- Supervise and mentor our conveyancing team

The Person

We’re looking for a capable, proactive Property/Commercial Lawyer who thrives on delivering practical solutions and building strong relationships. We want someone who is dedicated to contributing to the long term vision of our business. You will bring:

- Strong legaexperience in leasing, business sales/purchases, commercial property matters, off-the-plan contracts, easements, and related transactions
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Confidence in working independently while contributing to team success
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to professional excellence

Applicants with a minimum 3 years PAE are preferred, however we will consider candidates with less PAE who have a solid conveyancing background or other relevant experience, with a willingness to learn, and grow their knowledge & skills.
