Specialising in the design, installation and service/maintenance in every HVAC sector, this organisation has a renowned reputation for delivering large-scale projects across various sectors. We are now diversifying and looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Estimator to complement our design team.

Qualifications & experience

- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC)
- Minimum of 3 years' industry experiencein engineering and estimating
- Technical knowledge of mechanical designs
- Current White Card
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities





- Prepare tender submissions and estimations from mechanical construction drawings
- Prepare estimates, quantities, prices and costing for projects
- Interpret specifications and mechanical drawings and standards to assess impact on project costs
- Attend client and tender review meetings
- Inspect designs and completed projects to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory standards, maintaining high quality and safety
- Work with engineering software programs to deliver design drawings and heat loads
- Create relevant documentation for clients inc. Asbuilts, O&M; manuals and installation certificates
- Conduct site inspections and assist with design amendments and variations
