We are seeking a motivated, energetic and passionate People & Culture Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. Reporting directly to the People & Capability Manager, this role is pivotal in partnering with our leaders and teams to support business growth, capability development and a high-performing workplace culture.

Our People & Culture team prides itself on building strong relationships with leaders and employees across the business. We focus on leadership development, coaching, performance improvement and partnering with the business to remove roadblocks to performance and engagement.

Based at our Altona office in Melbourne’s west , this role will support a dedicated client group nationally and play a key role in delivering people strategies that support our operational workforce. This is a Full time Fixed Term Contract to 29 January 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading performance management and development
- Coaching leaders
- Implementing strategic workforce planning
- Driving talent management and succession planning
- Development and implementation of key HR policies and procedures
- Collaborating with multi teams including Safety, Training,



Recruitment and Payroll to deliver an excellent employee lifecycle experience
- Providing support, guidance and direction to employees seeking HR support
- Undertaking workplace investigations
- Interpreting Enterprise Agreements and Awards and providing advice
- HR compliance activities and reporting
- Undertake specialist projects across the People and Culture discipline

Ideal Candidate:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources and/or Business Administration or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in HR Advisor/Business Partner role (ideally 3-5 years), preferably within the transport industry (industry experience is not essential).
- Strong influencing skills, with a growth mindset
- Organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to collaborate effective with cross-functional teams.
- Possess a positive disposition and enjoy working in a diverse environment.
- Most importantly… you are passionate and motivated and want to grow your HR career in the Transport Industry.
