You will lead the investigation of routine and complex workplace incidents including sexual harassment, bullying and harassment, fraud, conflicts of interest and Code of Conduct matters. You will be required to liaise directly with clients in the coordination of inquiries, interview of complainants, witnesses and respondents, and draft professional, clear and concise reports on the outcome of those inquiries.

Consultants are contracted on a casual basis, as required, to provide services to our clients. Hours are variable and subject to client demand.

Some local travel may be required on occasion, and domestic travel may be available for investigators who wish to travel more often.

Key responsibilities

- Investigate, analyse, and assess employee conduct in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
- Provide investigative and employee misconduct advice and support to key corporate and government stakeholders on complex workplace conduct and integrity matters
- Undertake Code of Conduct reviews for Local Government in accordance with State policy frameworks and procedures

About you

- Wide-ranging workplace relations and extensive investigations experience, supported by significant management experience in a commercial, government, industrial, or corporate role
- Demonstrated strong investigative skills and experience, capable of analysing wide-ranging documents, policies and data
- Highly developed report writing skills with solid attention to detail




- Demonstrated strong communication and relationship management skills, capable of interviewing client employees, and negotiating highly sensitive and complex client matters
- Demonstrated experience in providing written and oral advice to senior executives and/or legal counsel
- High levels of integrity, and demonstrated commitment to workplace equity principles
- Tertiary qualifications in industrial relations, human resources, employment law, dispute resolution or a related discipline and/or experience in a similar environment is highly desirable
