Are you a payroll person who wants to get into AI?

We’re looking for someone who understands payroll and is excited about what AI can do to change it .

If you have Australian payroll experience, a great eye for detail and a natural curiosity about technology, this is an opportunity to work on something quite different from a traditional payroll role.

You don't need to be an AI expert.

We need someone who understands payroll and wants to learn how to use AI to make payroll better.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work across payroll implementation, systems, process improvement and AI.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Helping implement new Australian payroll clients.
- Reviewing and validating payroll data.
- Setting up payroll systems and payroll rules.
- Mapping data between payroll systems.
- Testing payroll calculations and system functionality.
- Investigating payroll discrepancies and resolving problems.
- Assisting with STP, PAYG, superannuation, leave and other payroll requirements.
- Supporting clients through implementation and go-live.
- Maintaining implementation documentation and checklists.
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes.
- Helping develop and test automated payroll processes.

And then there's the AI part...

We are actively looking at how AI can change the way payroll is implemented and delivered .

You will have the opportunity to:

- Find payroll tasks that can be automated.
- Experiment with AI tools and workflows.
- Use AI to help analyse and validate payroll data.
- Develop AI-assisted payroll processes.
- Improve payroll checking and reconciliation.
- Reduce repetitive manual work.
- Help create smarter payroll implementation processes.




- Test new ideas and work out what actually works.

We’re not looking for someone who simply follows a checklist.

We want someone who looks at a process and asks:

"Why are we doing it this way? Could we do it better?"

You will ideally have:

Payroll experience
You understand how payroll actually works and appreciate the importance of getting it right.

Attention to detail
You naturally check your work and notice things that others miss.

Curiosity
You like understanding how things work and finding solutions.

Enthusiasm for technology
You're interested in AI, automation and what technology can do.

A willingness to learn
You don't need to know everything. You need to be prepared to learn.

Problem-solving ability
When something doesn't work, you want to understand why.

Ownership
You take responsibility for your work and follow things through.
