UTILITY LOCATOR / Underground Service Locator

1300 Locate is currently looking for Utility Locators for BRISBANE & the SUNSHINE COAST areas to join an organisation that has led the way within the industry for over 20 years & has been accredited for several current & current technologies used.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The role encompasses major project work &/or daily locating jobs. Utility locating is the core responsibility of the role. Training will also be provided for the candidate for any shortcomings with skills that require honing.

Monday-Friday (Nights & Weekends only on occasions & away work from time to time with additional allowances).

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will need to show proof of experience and be DBYD Certified and have some years of experience in a dedicated utility locating role.



You will also have an understanding of survey and an ability to read survey drawings, DBYD, and Autocad (preferable), your professionalism and confidence in your ability will be on display whilst you deal with Tier 1-3 clients along with government clients. Experience in concrete scanning will be a major advantage for applicants but not necessary.

A minimum of 1-2 years of dedicated utility locating experience is required.

Basic interpretation ability for survey drawings is required.
