In this role, you will assist with quality improvement activities, provide education and support to patients and carers, and contribute to a positive learning environment for students and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

- You will support the Registered Nurse/Midwife in delivering protected, person-centred care that meets regulatory and professional standards.
- Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to patient assessment, care delivery and routine clinical procedures while developing your skills from novice to proficient practice.
- You will remain accountable for your own practice while helping to achieve high-quality care outcomes through teamwork, communication and evidence-based practice.

What you need

- Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Experience providing nursing care within a healthcare setting in accordance with appropriate standards of practice.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
