About the role

We are looking for experienced Aluminum Welders to join our expanding teams. This is a hands‑on highly skilled role where your attention to detail and pride in your welds truly make an impact. You will be working on quality builds, following client project specifications and industry standards, contributing to products trusted by customers across Australia. You’ll work in a clean, organised workshop using the best equipment to produce high-quality Truck Bullbars. Ultimate Bullbars invests in its people. You will have opportunities to grow capability, refine your techniques, and develop into a top‑tier welder in a supportive, quality‑focused environment. We also offer career advancement, with the training to become a department Team Leader in a small department environment.

Key responsibilities

Carry out MIG welding to a consistently high standard across aluminum projects.

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and build diagrams to understand project and client requirements.

Prepare components by cutting, grinding, shaping and cleaning materials for accurate, high-quality welds.

Review and test completed welds to ensure strength, accuracy and compliance with Ultimate Bullbars quality specifications.

Maintain welding tools and equipment through regular checks, cleaning and preventative maintenance.

Work safely at all times by following WHS procedures,



using PPE correctly and contributing to a clean, hazard‑free workplace.

About you

Solid experience as an Aluminium Welder, ideally in production or a fabrication setting.

Strong proficiency in MIG welding.

Ability to confidently read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical build specifications.

A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.

Steady hand‑eye coordination and well‑developed practical fabrication skills.

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and the ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a skilled team.

Willingness to complete – and successfully pass – a practical welding assessment as part of the recruitment process.

A trade qualification is preferred but not required.
