Crossroads Hotel is looking for an experienced Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis. If you take pride in your craft, have experience with hand stretched Pizza Dough and want to work in a busy, well-established venue with a loyal local following, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

Prepare and cook pizzas to a consistent, high standard using our venue's recipes and techniques

Manage the pizza section during busy service periods, working efficiently under pressure

Maintain stock levels, ordering and rotation for pizza ingredients

Uphold food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times

Work collaboratively with the broader kitchen team and support other sections when needed

Contribute ideas for specials and menu improvements

About you

Minimum 5 years previous experience as a pizza chef or in a similar high-volume kitchen role





Must hold at least a Cert III Commercial Cookery Certificate

Solid knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and pizza cooking techniques

A genuine passion for quality food and consistency

Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays

Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
