We’re seeking a Producer to join our growing Jack Nimble team in Sydney! This is initially a 6 month contract position.

Position Description

The Producer is responsible for bringing all aspects of a shoot together, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and are protected for all involved.

Objectives

- Build relationships with new and existing suppliers to bring fresh thinking and positive energy to sets.
- Champion social-first production processes on all projects.
- Make our sets the most fun, welcoming and inclusive sets out there.
- Ensure the profitability of all projects.
- Build relationships with clients, ensuring they have a positive experience during all phases of the production process.

Responsibilities

- Develop production budgets with oversight from the HOP.
- Recruit crew for productions, negotiate fees and contracts mostly independently.
- Schedule productions, develop timelines, call sheets, ensuring deadlines adhered to.
- Liaise with talent to schedule shoots or facilitate pre-interviews.
- Organise and, when required, attend site recces with crew.Organise all equipment for shoots, either booking and picking up or arranging for crew to do so.




- Work closely with directors, creative directors, art directors, production designers, photographers, writers, etc. to develop treatments and scripts.
- Organise and lead pre-production meetings as and when required;
- Manage client expectations, identify and address emerging problems with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Be the client’s primary contact in relation to all things pre- production, ensuring the client is updated at all times.
- Attend shoots as an on-set producer, ensuring productions run on time, on budget, and are safe for all involved.
- Be the client’s primary contact on-set.
- Manage all aspects of post-production, ensuring the work of internal and external suppliers is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards.
- Comply with client feedback and work with relevant suppliers to ensure it is addressed as best as possible.
- Work closely with creative directors and directors to ensure creative vision is met throughout all aspects of post production.
- Be the client’s primary contact in relation to all things post- production, ensuring the client is updated at all times;
- Ensure productions stay on schedule or update clients accordingly if timelines need to be changed.
- Work closely with EP, Head of Production and our production team in a collaborative way.

Skills

- A thorough understanding of the entire production process.




- Confident on-set producer, with a complete understanding of roles and responsibilities of crew.
- Able to think on your feet quickly to resolve problems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fully capable of independently scheduling, budgeting, and bringing a production to life.
- An understanding of the importance of thinking platform-first when creating social content.
- Attention to detail with a zero error mentality.An ability to read a room.
- Exceptional organisational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Performance Measurement

The performance of the Producer will be determined based on their ability to:

- Build positive relationships with suppliers and internal teams..
- Ensure the profitability of projects.
- Ensure client happiness with end-product.
- Champion social-first production processes with internal teams and suppliers.
- Foster positive and safe on-set experiences for all involved.
