Salary Range: Base Salary $72,620 +super

About theRole:

We’re looking for a Crew Leader for our civil construction teamwho can run crews’ day to day and make sure jobs are done safely,on time and to standard. You’ll be organising daily work, keepingteams moving across different sites, checking quality, and sortingproblems before they turn into delays. You’ll keep an eye on time,costs and service levels, report anything that’s off track, andadjust work plans when needed.

You’ll support your crew on the ground by showing them how thejob should be done, making sure safety rules are followed, andstepping in when standards slip. You’ll make sure traffic controlis set up properly, worksites are safe, audits and checks arecompleted, and WH&S; requirements are met. You’ll deal withcustomer questions politely to keep things running smoothly.

Qualifications and Experience

Our ideal candidate will have:

Mandatory

- Certificate III in Civil Construction or substantialexperience in a similar role.
- Construction Industry White Card (30215 QLD)
- Current ‘MR’ Class Driver's Licence.
- Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation underthe Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
- Demonstrated commitment to and practice of a leadershipstyle that supports, motivates and inspires individual and teamachievements.
- Experience leading construction personnel in theconstruction of municipal infrastructure.
- Experience in the construction of Council infrastructureincluding a detailed knowledge of construction materials andtheir application.
- Certificate associated with the successful completion ofthe Safe Working Near Live Exposed Parts training course.
