Hills Tankers are seeking highly skilled and motivated Auto Electrician to join the team at our Beresfield facility.

We are looking for people with a positive ‘can do attitude’ and we will consider a wide range of applicants with mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct service and repairs on our fleet of late model prime movers and tankers.

Complete all relevant paperwork as required by NHVAS standards

Breakdown diagnostics support

Maintain equipment and small plant where required.

Fault finding, diagnostics and maintenance.

Following preventative maintenance schedules.

Fit up of new vehicles including fatigue monitoring systems etc

Maintain a secure and clean work area.

Ensure Hills Tankers processes and procedures are followed.

Skills & Experience

Certificate 3 in Automotive Electrician Qualification

Driver’s Licence (required)

Experience/Ability in installing electrical systems in Heavy vehicles

Ability to read electrical schematcs and circuit diagrams

Ability to perform diagnostics and fault find automotive systems

Strong attention to detail

Analytical skills

Air conditioning license (preferable)

Experience with Wabco EBS (highly regarded)

Experience with prime movers and tankers (highly regarded)





Technical and practical understanding of fuel tankers (desirable)
