You will be involved in a range of telecommunications and communications infrastructure works across Sydney and surrounding suburbs.

Key responsibilities

- Communications cabling and associated infrastructure
- Fibre optic cabling, termination and testing
- MDU apartment and residential building communications installations
- Backbone and riser cabling
- Communications cabinet, rack and equipment installation
- Testing, fault finding and commissioning
- Reading plans, drawings and scopes of work
- Completing installation documentation and test results
- Working both independently and as part of a project team

About you

- Previous experience as a Communications Tradesperson or Telecommunications Technician
- NBN experience highly regarded
- MDU / apartment building experience highly regarded
- Experience with fibre and copper communications cabling
- Solid fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of communications pathways, risers and building infrastructure
- White Card
- Relevant cabling registration and endorsements
- Good communication and customer service skills
