The Prospect:
We currently have availableHeavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanicpositions at our Campbellfield depot that requires suitably skilled people.
As a valued employee of Direct Freight Express you will have uniforms supplied & laundered, be paid an above award wage, given access to ongoing overtime and work in a friendly environment.
Location:Campbellfield, VIC
Hours:Monday to Friday,8am-4.30PM(subject to change)O/time available
These positions will include duties such as but will not be limited to:
Perform routine servicing and vehicle inspections
Diagnose mechanical faults and undertake repairs
Complete mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system work
Maintain a clean, protected, and organised workshop
Accurately record all maintenance and service activities
In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:




Experience with trucks and trailers(essential)-primarily working on Kenworth/ISUZU/Cummins
Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)
Solid understanding of OH&S;/WHS procedures and safety protocols
High level of reliability, honesty, and professionalism
Excellent attention to detail and solid work ethic
Forklift license (desirable)
HR/HC license preferred but not essential
Full Australian working rights
A solid attitude and pride in workmanship
