We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Medical Secretary / Personal Assistant to join a dynamic group practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in a modern, purpose-built facility in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

About the Role:
This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented qualified who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice while providing exceptional service to patients and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a high-volume phone line with professionalism and efficiency
- Coordinating patient bookings and scheduling appointments
- Supporting consulting sessions and assisting clinicians as required
- Preparing patient accounts and documentation
- Organising theatre and hospital bookings
- Maintaining accurate patient records and digital files
- Working with Xestro medical software system (experience ideal, but not essential)
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in a surgical or specialist practice (dental experience also considered)
- Strong computer skills with fast and accurate keyboard ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- A team-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism
- Reliability, punctuality, and a well-presented appearance
