About the role

LJ ProWorks is a home renovation and property maintenance company servicing Gold Coast, Brisbane and surrounds. We are seeking an experienced Handyman to join our team. You will attend sites for inspections, identifying maintenance needs and performing repairs as required. Client locations vary daily, with primary work being located in Brisbane with clients also located on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Vehicle provided

Key responsibilities

- Attend sites for inspections, identifying maintenance needs and performing repairs as required
- Carry out various basic repair tasks including door and window repairs, patch and painting repairs, basic plumbing, carpentry, flooring, gutter and roof repairs, safety installations like handrails and ramps, fencing, tile, silicone and grout repairs, adjustments and fixture setups, lawn mowing and edging




- Source and promptly purchase necessary parts, tools, and supplies for each task while ensuring cost efficiency
- Work with our team, interpreting work orders and scheduling daily tasks
- Uphold OH&S; guidelines, prioritising personal safety
- Efficiently utilise our job management platform for task tracking, scheduling, reporting, and regular updates
- Represent LJ ProWorks with professionalism during in office engagements with clients

About you

- Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to operate independently and part of a team
- OH&S; White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Personal set of tools, including power tools (preferred but not essential)
- Tech-savvy with the capability to adeptly use reporting and job management platforms on their phone / electronic device
