Dermal Therapist / Advanced Skin Therapist

You'll be delivering advanced skin treatments and consultations in a luxury clinic environment - building long-term client relationships that are the foundation of what we do. You'll deliver advanced treatments including PICO and CO2 Laser, LED, RF Needling, IPL, Ultraformer MPT (HIFU), and customised clinical facials.

You will conduct skin analysis and consultations, reading skin conditions, contraindications, and Fitzpatrick typing to design personalised treatment plans. You will prescribe cosmeceutical homecare, educate clients with genuine expertise, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and contribute to performance targets through authentic client care.

Key responsibilities

Design personalised treatment plans based on client goals and skin assessment

Prescribe cosmeceutical homecare and educate clients confidently with genuine expertise

Maintain accurate clinical documentation, before/after photography, and client records

Build and maintain long-term client relationships, knowing client history, goals, and names

Communicate clearly and proactively with clients and teammates, especially when plans change or challenges arise

Maintain a polished, professional appearance and manner reflecting the premium standard of the clinic

Participate in in-clinic training, pursue continued self-directed education with a willingness to upskill

Contribute to team culture, support colleagues, and play an active role in the clinic's growth

About you

Bachelor of Dermal Science, Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies / Aesthetics), Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science, or Diploma of Beauty Therapy with equivalent advanced skin experience

Minimum 3 years experience in advanced beauty therapy, or 2 years as a qualified dermal therapist

Solid hands-on experience with advanced modalities

Strong skin knowledge: conditions, protocols, cosmeceuticals, and contraindications





Confident consultation skills - ability to assess skin, ask the right questions, and build a realistic treatment plan

Natural ability to build client rapport: warm, professional, and the kind of person clients trust and return to

Polished, professional presentation consistent with a premium clinic setting

Comfort working with KPIs, retail targets, and a results-driven practice

Experience taking clinical before/after photos and in-treatment documentation

Willing to obtain a QLD Laser Licence and Laser Safety Certificate with the support of the business
