We are seeking a Mechanic/Mechanical Trade Assistant to join our Operations team in Brisbane at our Archerfield Head Office and Manufacturing Facility.

About the Role

Whether you’ve earned your mechanical knowledge through a trade, a pre-apprenticeship or years of hands-on-experience – what matters to us is that you know your way around an engine.

You’ll be working hands‑on in our production workshop, preparing, servicing, testing and maintaining generators and power units. Our equipment supports customers across oil, gas, mining, and power generation, so every unit that leaves our facility needs to be safe, reliable, and ready to perform. That starts with you.

This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, with a monthly Rostered Day Off (RDO) .





Key Responsibilities

- Preparation and servicing of generators and equipment prior to dispatch.
- Servicing, check‑overs, and testing of diesel and gas engines and generators.
- Mechanical repairs and overhauls on workshop equipment.
- Accurate and comprehensive recording of all work completed.
- Working as part of a production team to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workspace.

You will bring

- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands‑on‑experience with engines, generators, or similar equipment.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools relevant to mechanical workshop work.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- A safety‑conscious approach to all work.
- Robust work ethic with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
