Position Overview:

As a Designer at Advanced Shade Systems, you will be a key contributor to our design team, responsible for bringing imaginative concepts to life. Your role will involve translating ideas into detailed plans, ensuring that our shade structures meet the highest standards of quality and creativity. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and help us push the boundaries of design, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Excellence: Develop visually stunning, functional designs that exceed client expectations.

CAD Proficiency: Create comprehensive 2D and 3D models using industry-standard CAD software.

Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to align designs with project objectives.

Manufacturing:



Have a key understanding of manufacturing techniques and processes to be able to implement the correct design solution.

On-Site Analysis: Conduct precise on-site assessments, gather measurements, and evaluate design constraints.

Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, presenting design proposals and ensuring their vision is realized.

Work hours: 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Thursday and 6:30am to 12:30pm Friday.

Required Software Proficiency:

AutoCAD

SketchUp

Ability in additional CAD software is a plus (e.g., SolidWorks, Adobe software’s, Lumion).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Industrial Design, or related fields.

Demonstrated experience as a Designer or a similar role is preferred.

Demonstrated understanding in project management.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, etc.).

Keen eye for detail and a strong design sensibility.

Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.

Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
