Nambour Christian College (NCC) is an outstanding co-educational, inter-denominational Prep to Year 12 Christian School located in the heartland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. About the Role

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and capable High School French Teacher, with the ability to teach Senior French, commencing in 2027, and to inspire students to enjoy language learning, appreciate other cultures and communicate with growing confidence.

This is a part-time position, with the potential for full time employment depending on the successful applicant’s experience and capacity to teach in other subject areas.

The successful applicant will bring energy, care and creativity to the classroom, planning and delivering sequential,



engaging and differentiated learning experiences in accordance with the Australian Curriculum requirements and best practice in language teaching.

Working as part of a supportive teaching team, the French Teacher will contribute to curriculum development, student assessment and reporting, parent communication, professional learning, co-curricular activities and the broader life of the College.

This role will suit someone who delights in helping students discover new ways of seeing the world, and who views teaching as a meaningful opportunity to encourage young people to recognise their God-given gifts, grow in confidence and engage thoughtfully with others.

You are a registered Queensland teacher who brings warmth, clarity and encouragement to the classroom. You build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues, and create learning environments where students feel supported, challenged and known.

You bring a thoughtful, student-centred approach to your teaching, with a genuine desire to see students grow in confidence, character and capability.

Key Qualifications

- Current Queensland Teacher Registration.
- Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in French language teaching.
- A current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and engagement with the AITSL Professional Standards.
- Personal alignment with the Mission and Vision of Nambour Christian College and a demonstrated commitment to Christian education.
