THE VIDEOGRAPHER ROLE

Reporting to the Creative Director at our Brisbane HQ, this is a hands-on videographer role for someone a year or two in who wants to shoot a lot and get good quickly.

You'll work across everything we put out. Campaign and product launch work one week, supplement and food content in the studio the next, short-form for TikTok and Meta, behind the scenes at a shoot or an event. Some days it's a proper setup with lighting and talent. Other days it's you and a phone, getting something turned around by the afternoon.

You shoot it and you cut it, so the job runs from setting up the frame to the final grade.

We're not expecting an agency showreel. We want solid fundamentals, a real interest in film and fitness, and someone who wants to learn off a senior creative team while putting out proper volume.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Shoot video for campaigns, product launches and brand content across activewear, supplements and food, in the studio and on location




- Film short-form video and hooks for TikTok, Instagram and Meta
- Shoot vertical on a phone as well as on camera, depending on what the job needs
- Set up and run camera, lighting and audio so the footage comes back clean and usable
- Work with talent on set, including models, athletes and the team. You'll take direction from the Creative Director and keep things moving with clear, friendly instruction
- Edit your own work in Premiere Pro/DaVinci. Cutting, colour grading, sound, captions and music
- Deliver in the right formats and ratios for paid social, organic, EDM, web and retail
- Work to briefs from the creative and marketing teams, and bring your own ideas
- Second shoot on the bigger campaign days alongside our senior photographer and videographer
- Grab behind the scenes content at shoots, events, athlete sessions and around the office
- Keep the volume up without the quality dropping off
- Stay on top of footage, project files and exports so the content library is easy to work from
- Look after the gear. Batteries charged, cards cleared, kit packed, and a hand with setup and pack down
- Keep across trends and formats, and tell us what we should be filming

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

- One to two years shooting and editing video. A job, freelance work, an internship or your own channels all count
- Confident on a mirrorless or DSLR, including framing, exposure, lighting and clean audio
- Just as happy shooting vertical on a phone, and you know how to make it look good
- Good working knowledge of Premiere Pro,



including colour grading
- Your own camera gear, plus a licence and your own transport for location shoots
- Comfortable working fast and getting a lot done to deadline
- Into health and fitness, and able to shoot training so the movement actually looks good on camera
- After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve is a bonus
- A showreel or portfolio link, this one isn't optional
- Full working rights in Australia

KEY SKILLS

- A good eye for framing, lighting and composition
- Strong editing instincts, particularly pacing and sound
- Can work quickly and stay consistent when the load is heavy
- Knows that brand content and content built to sell are two different jobs, and can shoot for both
- Easy to have on set. Comfortable around talent and able to give clear instruction so people relax on camera
- Organised with files, footage and deadlines
- Reliable. Turns up early, sets up properly, looks after the gear
- Wants to learn, asks questions, gets better each shoot
