Blade Pile is Australia’s largest end-to-end provider of screw piling services.

Our head office and manufacturing facility is located in Yatala, QLD, with distribution centers around Australia and New Zealand.

We are looking for a junior engineer to join our growing team and work alongside our experienced engineers and project managers.

Job Outline

In this role, you will be working within our QLD project team, assisting with estimations and processing engineering certifications with the opportunity to grow within our expanding technical team.

You will start by learning to design foundations, quote and assist with projects and prepare forms and complete engineering certification. You will be liaising and solving problems with senior engineers internally, helping solve in office issues in real time and working with other team members on other relevant tasks.

This role will provide you the opportunity to grow and build a career within the Blade Pile Group and pursue a direction that best suits you.

Tasks





- Assessing loads and designing foundations for residential projects
- Liaising with engineers
- Answering office phone calls
- Providing technical support to on-site team members
- Working within Microsoft software ecosystem

Job Requirements

- Must have the legal right to work in Australia, either citizenship or permanent residency .
- Local work experience and knowledge of Australian standards and regulations.
- Must have a degree recognised by Engineers Australia (Civil or Mechanical).
- Due to the significant amount of phone contact with our customers, strong proficiency in the English language is required.
- Local hire only i.e., Brisbane or Gold Coast

Beneficial Skills & Experience

- Any experience with engineering software
- Any construction industry experience
- Any soil-related experience

Work hours are 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday to Thursday and 7:00AM to 1:30PM on Fridays.
